Reef Hotel Men's T-Shirt
When built in 1955, the then 10-story Outrigger Reef was the first high-rise to be built on Waikiki Beach. Another first for the hotel was a subterranean bar named Davy Jones Locker with an underwater view of the swimming pool. As noted in a 1954 newspaper article, “Cocktail sippers can watch the swimmers flocking in the water like fish at an aquarium.” Davy Jones Locker proved such a hit that the concept was replicated at the Outrigger Waikiki when it was built.
