For almost 50 years the band ZZ Top has been bringing their blues inspired rock to music fans all around the world. With 15 albums under their belt and a loyal fan base, this iconic band was formed back in 1969 in Houston, Texas. ZZ Top made their first tour stop to Hawaii on July 1st and 2nd of 1977 for two shows at the Neal S Blaisdell arena in Honolulu. This was part of their Worldwide Texas Tour which was originally in support of their 1975 Album, Fandango!, but ended up running through their 1976 release, Tejas, which was recorded in between legs of the long running tour. The band has returned to Hawaii on several subsequent tours over the last four decades, showcasing their longevity and their far reaching appeal.
