His unique approach to filming the burgeoning world of surf and live-narrated screenings throughout Southern California led to a number of other classics, including “Surf Crazy”, "Surfin’ Shorts”, “Barefoot Adventure”, “Surfing Hollow Days”, and “Waterlogged”. Then, in 1964, Brown would begging touring his latest and ambitious surf flick, “The Endless Summer” in civic centers and schools throughout Los Angeles and Orange Counties.
