Strong Current Surfboards

Since 1989, Strong Current Surf Shop has been a cornerstone of the North Shore’s vibrant surf culture. Founded by Johnny and Bonnie Moore, who traded New Jersey for Hawaiian paradise, the shop initially offered surfboards, accessories, and apparel. However, it soon became clear that their in-house screen-printed apparel was the main attraction. In 1993, the shop expanded to include the Hale'iwa Surf Museum, making it a one-of-a-kind destination for surf enthusiasts and history buffs alike.
